The Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihood Mission (DAY-NRLM) oversees the Namo Drone Didi Scheme. It aims to equip 15,000 women SHGs with drones to be used in agriculture for spraying fertilizers, pesticides, and crop monitoring. In addition to assisting in the improvement of farming practices, this opens up entrepreneurial opportunities for women in rural India. To make this a reality, a budget of 1,261 crore has been allocated.
